There is no state law that prohibits individuals from selling diabetic test strips, CGMs, or other supplies they received through insurance or purchased themselves. What matters is that the supplies are sealed, unexpired, and were legally obtained.

What You Can Sell

• Unopened, factory-sealed boxes of test strips
• Unopened CGM sensors including Dexcom G6, G7, Freestyle Libre 2 and Libre 3
• Unopened Omnipod DASH and Omnipod 5 pods
• Other sealed, unexpired diabetic supplies in original packaging

What You Cannot Sell

• Opened or partially used supplies
• Expired supplies
• Supplies obtained through Medicaid or Medicare — reselling government-funded supplies is prohibited under federal law
• Damaged or compromised packaging

Why Do People Have Extra Supplies?
